DELIVERY INFORMATION & CHARGES

NEXT DAY DELIVERY ANNOUNCEMENT

Our services are currently affected by increasing covid-19 cases and isolations requirements across the country, as well as a nationwide shortage of HGV drivers. We would urge you to order any essential deliveries to arrive a day prior to your actual date as a minimum as our couriers are unable to guarantee next day delivery at present. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

We provide a delivery service to the majority of UK mainland addresses.

You can use any of the following services for our party goods, fancy dress and gifts.

For our Balloon in a Box delivery - whether your order the day before or 3 months in advance, our balloons are prepared the day before your chosen delivery date.

The Balloon in a Box service is only available using our next day option – all other products are also available via standard royal mail.

©       While Royal Mail deliver 80 to 90% of 1st Class post next day, there is no guaranteed date for your package to arrive and refunds for late delivery cannot be given.

©       Please note 1st Class deliveries do not require a signature and we have no way to track your order.

NEXT DAY – SELECTED DAY DELIVERY between 8am – 5.30pm

©       Order before 12 noon Monday – Friday for next day delivery

©       Orders placed after 12 noon will be despatched the following day. If you place an order over the weekend, we will despatch the next working day.

©       Select your delivery date at the checkout if you are ordering in advance

©       Note the delivery time chosen is next day (8am-5.30pm) or before 1pm (8am-1pm)

©       Choose your required shipping option and time.

©       Specify ‘Leave Safe’ instructions at time of purchase – If recipient is out and you have requested to leave in a safe place or with a neighbour these instructions will be followed where possible. Please note that in the rare circumstances that there are no safe places or neighbours are not answering the box may be returned to the depot and a card left informing recipient.

Delivery Recommendations:

Due to the current circumstances, couriers are experiencing incredibly high volumes of parcel deliveries and cannot 100% guarantee nominated delivery, therefore we recommend you select 1-2 days prior to your celebrations for delivery to allow for delays.

Covid Safe Deliveries:

No signature is required for your deliveries – please leave special instructions for our drivers should you be out –eg leave with neighbour or in your safe place.

Tracking Your Delivery:

APC couriers will send you an estimated time of arrival for your delivery.

You will be able to follow your parcel from 5pm on the day prior to your delivery date.

Please provide an email address and mobile phone number at time of purchase to receive confirmation of shipment and an estimated time of arrival of your parcel.

Delivery Service Upgrades

Should the weight of any UK Recorded Signed or UK Special Delivery consignment be in excess of 1kg in weight, we reserve the right to upgrade shipment of your order and ask for additional monies to cover increased postage costs where applicable.

Refused Deliveries Return to Sender

Subsequent to a second or third delivery attempt by our couriers, your parcel will be returned to us as "Return To Sender". Should you refuse a delivery without our written consent, this would be returned to us. Such returns will mean we incur an additional carriage cost for the parcel reach us. To this end, we reserve the right to apply a £12.50 return carriage and administration fee.

Places We Are Unable To Ship:

Jersey, Guernsey, Ireland or the Scottish Highlands

We are able to deliver to some of Scotland, however there may be a surcharge dependent on the delivery postcode – please contact us to check if your postcodes options.

Strike Action
In the case of a strike by Royal Mail or courier we will use alternative couriers to make deliveries. Please note that timed deliveries do not apply and deliveries will take place before the end of the working day

 

CLICK & COLLECT – FREE OF CHARGE

From our shop in Regent Street, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (GL50 1HA) within our normal shop opening hours. These are Monday to Saturday, 09.00am to 5.30pm.

Please note that our hours may differ due to Covid restrictions – check our site at time of ordering to ensure you are aware of any changes to these.

'Click & Collect' orders are processed as a priority and are available for collection dependent on stock levels.

Please allow 2-4 days for collection date, you will be notified when ready for pick up.

If you need something earlier than this, please contact us on 01242 254480 to discuss in person.

Please consider the size of your order and the size of your vehicle before collection. You will need to ensure that your vehicle is clean & clear of any sharp edges - we recommend putting the back down in your vehicle for extra space. Please ensure your driving view is not obscured by your collection – we recommend tying your balloon bags down to contain them whilst in transit for your safety.

The Ultimate Party Shop Ltd are not responsible for your products or their transit once they have left our store.

 

VENUE DECORATION, BALLOON INSTALLATIONS & LARGER DISPLAY DELIVERIES  

(Available during normal trading circumstances only)

We decorate homes, gardens, shops, restaurants, pubs, hotels and large venues for all kinds of celebrations from gender reveals to birthday parties and weddings, award ceremonies, charity fundraisers, sporting events, business launches and special occasions. 

We can also provide you a full balloon decorating service or with ready-made displays delivered straight to your door.

STOCK RESTRICTIONS AND CHANGES

Whilst we will endeavour to use the products exactly as advertised for your order, occasionally there may be cases where we need to make small amendments to your chosen products.  Should this be the case we will provide as similar as possible and only make changes if we feel happy that the overall feel and look of the product being sent to you matches the theme or style of what you ordered.  If we cannot do this we will contact you with alternatives.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ALLERGIES

All of our balloons are for decoration purposes and are not intended as toys.

Young children and animals can choke or suffocate on plastic bags/packaging, uninflated or broken balloons, weights or accessories. Adult supervision is essential at all times. For safety discard any plastic packaging, broken balloons, weights or accessories immediately.

Never under any circumstances, inhale or allow anyone to inhale the helium in these balloons - there is a risk of suffocation.

Beware of entanglement risk with ribbons attached to these balloons. Not suitable for children under 36 months.

Some of our products may contain natural rubber latex (especially balloons) which may cause allergies, please be aware of this when purchasing or sending a gift.

The Ultimate Party Shop cannot take responsibility for any issue arising from an allergy to items within your order.

CARING FOR YOUR BALLOONS

Our inflated balloons last for upto 5 days depending on how they are stored.

They are designed for display and not as a toy. They are at their best when kept at normal room temperature.  If they get cold they may look a little deflated however if you move them into a normal temperature they will bounce back and look gorgeous and full again.

We advise you double check your balloons on arrival to ensure you are happy with them and notify us immediately if there are any issues.

If you have more than one balloon in an order the ribbons may tangle in tansit.  You should be able to untangle them once out of the box.  We are unable to provide refunds for tangled ribbons.

DATA PROTECTION

Due to data protection we are only able to discuss orders with the billable customer. We are not able to say who the item has come from, resend, refund or discuss the order with the recipient if they are not also the billable customer.
